Burger Bun

I am dedicating my first food post on an amazing burger that I had the other day. It was so special that it requires an independent post just to talk about it.

I would probably blame my occasional diet which makes me badly crave for junk food. If I wish to binge on my cheat day I go all out in researching an apt place that will satiate my craving and then catch hold of any of my available foodie friend to accompany me . This time I had a huge need to fill myself with a juicy burger!

After thorough research, by which I mean after researching restaurants, menu and their prices, I decided to go to ‘The Black Rabbit’, a casual dining place in Indiranagar, Bangalore as they were listed under some of the best restaurants that served amazing burgers.

This place is usually bustling over the weekend and on weekday nights but since my friend and I went on a weekday afternoon the place was empty which also meant full attention to us. The place looked pretty with lots of seating indoor and outdoor. We wanted to get right into business and therefore we quickly ordered what we came for! I initially wanted to try their Philly Cheese Beef Burger but since it was not available at that hour I settled for an All American Burger and I wasn’t disappointed.

The order came in around 10-15 mins and boy it looked good! It was loaded with grilled onions, tomatoes, gherkins, jalapenos and of course the beef patty. It was served with fried onions, french fries, purple cabbage served like cole slaw and a chilli relish. After snapping a couple of pics i jumped right into it. The portion size was big and delicious! The patty was well made and it complemented the vegetables in every bite. It was soft and juicy and not to forget a bit messy but that didn’t matter one bit. The fries tasted amazing with the chilli dip and the onions were good to munch. It was an overall satisfactory experience. More like a mission accomplished feel.

In spite of filling ourselves with this, we went ahead and ordered one dessert for our sweet craving. It was a Profiterole with caramel and custard topped with fudge sauce and a vanilla ice-cream. This dessert was good but slightly heavy and I am not going to elaborate further as this post is solely dedicated to the protagonist- burger.

I would recommend this restaurant and the burger if you are someone who wants to simply indulge in some good dining experience with good food at a reasonable price!

“Oh Burger, you beauty… What would I have done without you?”
